Products Description
BP430.3nm Bandpass Filter | FWHM 3nm, T>90%, OD2 200-800nm

BP430.3nm isolates a single emission line at 430.3 nm for ICP emission channels and atomic absorption optics: over 90% at the line, 3 nm FWHM, and OD2 rejection from 200 to 800 nm in one element.
Technical Specifications
| Parameter | Specification | Note |

| FWHM | 3 nm ± 1 nm | 2nm worst case |
| Peak transmission | > 90% at CWL | Coated part |
| Blocking | OD > 2,@200-800 nm | 1% max out of band |
| Angle of incidence | 0deg; nominal | Tilt shifts CWL shorter |
| Format | Round, square, custom outline | Mounted or unmounted |
Two things decide whether a narrow wavelength filter survives in a spectrometer. Tolerances stack — ± 1 nm on centre and on width means the delivered passband can run 2–4 nm wide with the 430.3 nm line near its edge, so budget for that, not for nominal values. And the passband shifts shorter once the beam leaves normal: a few degrees of tilt is a measurable share of 3 nm.
Applications
ICP-OES channels isolating one analyte line from a line-rich argon plasma; AAS optics passing a resonance line while rejecting lamp fill-gas emission and flame background; any spectroscopy techniques where stray light, not detector noise, sets the detection limit. The 3 nm window is what rejects the nearest neighbouring lines.
Customization and Supply
Round and square are standard; rectangular, elliptical and other outlines are cut to drawing, with rings sized to the holder. CWL, bandwidth, blocking depth and thickness are set per project, and standard wavelengths ship from stock. Off-catalogue centres run as a custom optical filter against your drawing.
Talk to an Optical Engineer
When a channel reads high blanks or the line-to-background ratio drifts, send the instrument layout, the line list around 430 nm and the current specification. We will check whether a 3 nm window clears your nearest interfering lines. sales@optofilters.com
